New "So Much Better" single! :) (Spoiler Alert!)

Hey gang. Just downloaded the new "SMB" single from Itunes, and it's indeed in the lower key. However, where it lost something with Laura Bell Bundy's performance in this key, it sits well for Bailey and compliments her voice really well.

However, the single sounds over-synthesized and the absence of Warner's line annoys me. lol

And wow, they had Orfeh sing BACKUP for Bailey? ...What a waste of her talent, lol. I'd buy Orfeh's "So Much Better" single over Bailey's I think.

Wow even though Becky Gulsvig is Elle on tour I'm sure that was hard for her. Or maybe it wasn't hard at all but I'm sure it was awkward

Bailey is like singing in a baby voice. Is she doing that on purpose or has it just been messed around with too much? (the audio, not Bailey's voice)

I think that's her actual voice, but I am not 100% sure. I only watched bits and pieces of the MTV show.

I couldn't even finish the 30 second clip on iTunes.

LBB left big shoes to fill. She was the perfect Elle. I really want to like Bailey because I love the show and the character of Elle Woods. I want Bailey to win me over. Maybe she has improved since the reality show ended. I'll be interested in hearing about her first day/week of performances.

I don't understand the LBB praise. She was a mediocre Elle at best. It's not hard to beat her performance, IMO.

I thought Bailey did a great job tonight. Of course Autumn outsang her, but other than that for me Bailey shines and is full of joy both of which I equate with LBB's Elle.

I still find it funny that Christian Borle never appeared on the show once. Do you think the actors got paid extra for appearing?

I can't believe they used Orfeh, Andy Karl, and Becky? What a waste of talented people. I'm not the biggest fan of Becky, but I want to see her interpretation of Elle duirng the tour. It was nice to see Andy Karl though even through the video haha.

I would buy Autumn's version over Bailey's though. I will not be buying that version. It's mad synthesized and in a lower key. Ridiculous

Emcee - I think that they should have her lose the accent. It's really heavy for a girl from Malibu, and very obvious.

She can't possibly believably play a girl from Southern California if she speaks with that accent on stage. At all.

She probably had that taken care of during those rehearsals she has been doing. Almost 4 months of rehearsal could make a difference.

I remember in one of the earlier episodes she was able to drop her accent quite easily, but we'll see.
