I'd be more excited for the production if it starred Kevin Kline instead of Peter Gallagher. They're around the same age (59-66 respectively), however, isn't that kind of old for Oscar anyway?

The new artwork is better than before but I agree with some that it could've been better. But I'll take it.
I almost slapped my friend silly when he asked me if this was a new musical about Marilyn Monroe and her days at 20th Century-Fox.

Kristin Chenoweth is no Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn Monroe was SMOKIN' HOT!
Now now, we are all the Lord's children and each of us beautiful in our own way.
Carlos, there will never be another one like her.
Back on topic, I hope this production does well, but I think we can agree that it's not going to be another ANYTHING GOES.
Peter Gallagher is 59, but a "young" 59 in my opinion. John Cullum was in his late 40s when he starred in the original stage musical. John Barrymore was 52 when he did the film.

I'm not bothered by Gallagher's age. Oscar Jaffe was Lily's "mentor", Svengali even, as well as lover. I expect him to be nearly a generation older than she. Kristin Chenoweth will be roughly 47 by opening night.

On the other hand, Kevin Kline is 67!

Back to the artwork, shall we could how many visual euphemisms for exploding penises are to be found within it?
		     			Sorry--What?
 Oh--COUNT

I only found two... I've never seen the show, is it particularly sexual?
I saw the original. Remembered enjoying it but do not remember details . Musically I think it is type of an operetta. Seeing one of the first 4 previews upstairs.
There's a new promo pic out of Oscar staring fiercely into Lily's eyes while she sits on suitcases. I like it.
