Has anyone else seen the new marquee that Drowsy Chaperone put up. It is the same sign but "Drowsy" is spelled out in yellow neon letters and come on one at a time like the New Amsterdam sign. And "Chaperone" looks the same as the Winter Garden sign with all the bulbs. Then the whole sign is outlined in chaser lights. I will try and get a picture tonight when I go to work. It looks great. I think someone is planning on staying a while...

That's just plain rude to tell us about it and not have a picture of it.

Sorry, no picture of the marquee itself, but you can see a graphic of the same idea at the bottom of the show's official site:

http://www.drowsychaperone.com/

I saw the graphic the other day and wondered if they were going to start going in that direction with their ads. But apparently they've turned it into a marquee, which is an infinitely cooler idea.

This is odd, but there's video of it here:

It's kind of boring to watch, but you can see it at least!!

Well true, that's not the most thrilling video, but thanks very much for the link. I really love the new look (or "old" look, I guess it would be).

Has anyone watched the Man in Chair tips on The Drowsy Chaperone website? They are really quite funny

I'm in the one where he chases Sutton Foster. I spotted myself very briefly when the camera went by. I posted about it months ago while they were filming it.

Oh haha, is that when your old avatar photo was taken Yankeefan? The photo with Bob and the boom hanging over him? That picture came to mind as I was watching the tips.

Yankeefan- Which video is that labeled as, Stage Door? Are you actually in it?

They filmed those a while ago...

Yeah, that was it. It's the video called the TKTS Booth. They're all labeled wrong. You can see me (I recognized what I was wearing) for literally half a second.

You can be blasé about some things, StageManager2, but not the Drowsy marquee. re: New Drowsy Chaperone Marquee I think it's great.
