"Seems I will be only seeing straight plays this season."
Same here. I've bought tickets to see the new VIRGINIA WOOLF for two performances. I hope it's good. I should add that I love that play and most of Albee's work.
But LuPone in a new Mamet? GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS with Pacino? (Even though I probably won't see it because prices are NUTS!) Sounds like some good dramatic acting.
I am looking forward to ANNIE, though. I have faith that James Lapine will give us a good production.
I think most theatergoers are not just interested in the musicals on Broadway. So I created a poll of all 19 Broadway shows (plays, musicals, stand-up) that have opening dates from now until the end of December. The poll allows you to pick more than one show. Poll: Which Broadway Fall 2012 Shows Are You Most Looking Forward To?
I'm excited to see Jessica Chastain on Broadway and very curious about Kinky Boots. I really enjoyed the movie and it seems like a great creative team. Hoping for the best
I have no clue what these shows are about except for Annie and Elf and a Christmas Story. Why not Matilda the Musical or the upcoming, still in development Anastasia!
for me, its between DROOD and HOUDINI whenever that comes in.
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.

one or both of us will want to get out.
But I also guarantee that if I don't

Not listed up there but I'd love to see "Allegiance, A New Musical".
