I can't speak for anyone else -- but I don't know what you are talking about.

NEWSIES is giving away all their lottery seats for free to the winners from 3/23 - 3/29 to celebrate their 1 year anniversary.

Lottery was pretty wild today. Adam Kaplan was on for the first time as Jack Kelly.

Tried last night. There were about 100 people there...maybe it was because people didn't know about it or were just getting home for spring break... but according to another girl who I was standing with, they had a lot more tickets in the lottery that they usually had.

Aw, well, that's kind of sweet. Thanks for the info, Jordan.

Went today to do lottery. Probably over 100 people were there. My friends name was called so we got to go. We were excited because we hadn't seen the show yet.
We heard it was Adams first show in the role of Jack Kelly prior to the show...my friend saw him walk into the theater when she was getting the tickets, he stopped and talked to a friend of his that had won the lotto also and said how nervous he was.
I have no comparison since it was my first time seeing the show and I haven't even seen the movie, but I thought he did a really good job. The first song was slightly shaky and his hand seemed to be gripping the railing really tightly, but after that he relaxed and did great!

Went yesterday and there was probably 100 people. But we WON! So exciting. Most of them there didn't even know it was going to be free!

Went to the lottery for the matinee today and WON. There didn't seem to be more people there than when I've previously gone. They were giving away Newsies hats today to everyone who entered. Not sure if they've been doing this all week or not.

In case you're interested, they've added TWO shows tomorrow when they're usually dark. Might be better chances of getting the lottery then since not as many people will know.
