I dont think "MATCH" will run long, but as it hasn't yet opened, I jump the gun
WICKED
FIDDLER
WONDERFUL TOWN
BOMBAY DREAMS
TWENTIETH CENTURY
and CATS Oh, sorry... I was just regressing to my Darkest Hour. You go Ruffian! TABOO was cool.
Drowing Crow
Match
I can't think of anymore that won't make it for a little while longer. But Drowing Crow, I hear is terrible. It has been panned by viewers and critics alike.
Wicked
The Lion King
The Producers
Mamma Mia!
Hairspray
Seriously, Drowning Cow and RENT.

Deja vu...haven't we done this same post weekly for the past year? I mean, that joke with the producers, hairspray etc. has been used 30,000 times!
Well.... I've never seen this post before.... but maybe I am oblivious. Ehh, it happens.
I'm gonna go with King Lear, which means that I totally win! I don't care if I already knew.....

My post got wiped out
I saw "Drowning Crow".....some perfs were good, but it just didn't work
I think "MATCH" will open to some poor notices & then close...leaving The Plymouth open for the return of "TABOO"
Will take my meds now
CATSNY...lol...I hear ya
I love when we post positive threads like this.

yes, cause you are usually post such positive , constructive things. ::rolls eyes::
i think the next show to close are going to be plays. this isn't a great year for plays. probally match, or 16 wounded. but i think a raisin in the sun will do well because of it's cast.

Okay, do you realize that some of these shows are limited runs? Which means they have a set performance dates. The closing dates are known. Often done with plays...like KING LEAR.
You're right, etoile.
The real question should be which open end shows will close soon.
I'm thinking:
Fiddler on the Roof
I Am My Own Wife
Golda's Balcony
Drowning Crow (but it's already a limited run)
...maybe Wonderful Town, once Donna Murphy leaves.
Too bad plays haven't been doing so hot. Last time i was in NYC, I got to see the obc of Proof and the second cast of The Dinner Party, and I really enjoyed myself. There doesn't seem to be anything that really catches my eye this year.
I hate when a show closes.
Unless it is a terrible show.
Some terrible shows:
Vincent The Musical
Birdy's Bachlorette Party
Drowning Crow

Wicked
Hairspray
The Lion King
The Fantasticks
Lion King is sold out.
I doubt it will ever close. I love that show i am seeing it in April with my relatives kids in April woo hoo.

I hope it's still open in April.
Sammy the Lion King is sold out it is impossible to get tickets.
Gypsy, Aida, Thoroughy modern Millie, Movin' Out.
-Drowning Crow IS closing, it's a limited engagement.
MILLIE? Bite your tongue.
HORROR OF ALL POSSIBLE HORRORS.
No way Jose'!
I just got tickets to Lion King
Seriously, the next five shows to close:
Aida, Fiddler on the Roof, Beauty And The Beast, Gypsy, and Rent.
AIDA will be closing soon, I can feel it.
Beauty and the Beast? Really??
Aida is a definite possibility, probably within the next year, but I don't think it will happen until the capacity slump during the low-season in the fall.
What about Little Shop? Is it limited run? I don't know too much about it, but I had a feeling it wasn't doing too good.
