wow, he's only 20? he looks so much older! Not that that's a bad thing in general, but just. I would have thought he was like 25 or so!

yeah, Groff just looks SO innocent all the time. He has that wide eyed "young boy" look about him. But that's not to say Kyle couldn't either- it's just in his picture he's got more of a "cool scruffy rocker" vibe about him hehe. That's not bad either, it's just different. In fact, it might be a very cool interpretation of the role! Melchior is kind of supposed to be the "rockstar" of the show anyway, so.. :)

^haha well that's true, Moritz has the rock songs in the show. He definitely rocks out the hardest :) But in terms of characters in the context of the story, it's Melchior whose kind of the "rockstar" one that all the girls fawn over

but yeah, musically Moritz has the rock songs

I just meant in terms of characterization :)

oh man. If I'm already crushing on him this bad, I can only imagine how intense it is going to be if I actually see him in the show! lol. And the awesome thing is if he's 20 that is like.. only a little over a year older than me! Not that it really matters obvs, but just.. I always feel kind of wierd crushing on guys who are way older than me. So it's nice to be able to do it with guys who are about my age

um... so everyone should go and buy his CD Before I Speak on itunes. It's SO GOOD. He has a very Tyler Hilton sound. And he was freaking SIXTEEN when he made it. Boy's got amazing good looks AND freakish talent!

Oh wow..this will get me back to see the show again. I've had Kyle's cd for ages and have seen him in concert a few times. Once was way back when he was about 15 opening for Maroon5.
I'll definitely have to check him out in the show.

Had no idea he was playing with Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers now. They are a great band.

Kyle is only taking the role for the summer until Hunter Parrish takes over. Jesse is probably going to do the part the first week (or so) after Groff leaves.

Kyle is suppose to then take the tour.

Of course, knowing SA....changes are always possible.

He is adorable, but I am so, so, so worried about the dynamics and connections between the cast just deteriorating... J. Gallagher leaving was tough enough, but I am afraid that having to have a new Wendla and Melchior not only EXTREMELY connect with each other, but have to connect with the rest of the cast in a fairly short amount of time is really going to be straining and tricky.
