Limited runs and already announced closings aside, which show on Broadway right now do you think is next to close? Which one deserves to close next?

Say Kalimba, was it really necessary for you to post...PERIOD? Unless the subject post is misleading, what's it to you? The person who posted was direct in his question so one knew in advance exactly what the post was about before reading the responses. Why would you not just skip reading it altogether? Does it hurt your eyes to even read the words? Is it taking valuable space on your screen? Just curious here as to why people like yourself even bother responding.

So what? Just because we have a search feature doesn't mean there's NEVER going to be duplicate posts - sometimes we just don't think to do it. It's not the end of the world.

Amen Millie. I'll go with Festen. While I'd rather Ring of Fire close first, I feel that it has just enough appeal to beat out Festen.

What was I thinking not suggesting Wicked! Clearly this show lacks the obsessed fandom to pull it through for another month. A show like Wicked needs that since it's not spectacular or commercial enough to appeal to tourists either. Shucks.

I know Lestat may not be the next big hit on Broadway. But people need to give it a chance. I don't mean to be rude but those saying Lestat should close, have they even seen it yet? I think every show deserves a chance.

I think Ring of Fire, followed by Festen and Hot Feet. I actually think Lestat will last at least until the summer.

Considering Spelling Bee hasn't dipped below 80% throughout its run I don't think predict its closing anytime soon.

Looking at the grosses, Festen isn't off to a strong start, but it's been doing as well as 'Barefoot'. Do they not have a strong advance or will the negative reviews kill them that soon?? I'm just wondering, because I would really like to see Festen this summer.

Spelling Bee's going nowhere. It costs pretty much nothing to run, and is in a very small theatre.

Festen will last through the Tonys (wishful thinking). After that though (when it's likely shut out), we'll see.
