She was clearly not lip-syncing. She had quite a few off moments.
"There's nothing good on. The media hates Christmas. The media loves vampires, though. Maybe they will show a Twilight Christmas." -Danmeg's 10 year old son.
I don't think the producers had a choice. Wasn't it Women's Health Day or something? The View people probably didn't want the full cast. Yesterday, Faith Prince had to talk to herself because they didn't want to add Ariel, Flotsam, or Jetsam.
I think the song fit the overall tone of the show wonderfully, just wish there'd been more time for a bit of an interview/chitchat at the end. Good song choice in marketing the show to a specific demographic. And as for my lip syncing comment, i was just curious. she didn't seem to be breathing nearly as deeply as she does on stage and her mouth seemed a little late with some of those words as they were heard. but then again the camera work was generally all over the place and i was in the middle of baking cookies at the time, so probably my bad.
I haven't seen the show yet, but that was a wonderful performance of an OK song. The idea of missing the highs of her informity is hardly a new or unique thought. As some have said, since it was a day of Women's Health issues, some discussion of what the character was going through would have been relevant and certainly add to the performance and made it more poignant. She's looking very pretty and smooth of face!
Can anyone who has a program tell me who plays the cello?
