That won't happen. Rocky is a big fat hit and the masses will go wild with it and it is critic proof, according to the preview thread.

I've never been a fan of him in Theatre- I saw him in How To Succeed and Hairspray. he was okay in HTS, but in Hairspray he was verging on awful- just flat in all aspects.

As much as I wish it was, Rocky is not a big fat hit, at least not yet.This is the first week since it opened that it is not on tdf. It is always on tkts also. It is doing great this week as it is spring break and was sold out the past two nights. Hopefully that will continue come summer and with the influx of tourists and with the Tony nominations also. Love Andy and want it to be a huge hit for him!!!

He was so so so so bad in Les Miz. I have to fast forward through his songs on the BD because they are painfully embarrassing.

But I guess if they want a Rocky who looks like he's constipated every time he sings then they couldn't get a better person for the job.

I loved Nick in How To Succeed. He was easily my favorite of the three Finches. The material of Rocky is far weaker though, and I fear he wouldn't know how to compensate for that the way Andy Karl does. Still, I would go back to see him again in a heartbeat.

big fat hit? its Operating costs have to be in the 700k at least...and its barely doing that. Its a 18 million dollar musical. At this rate the show will recoup in 2023. gimme a break,

DAME, you were inferring that a photo of him with a boxing bag and him attending ROCKY could mean he was possibly considering going into the show. That's a huge (inaccurate) parallel to draw.
