I like how they change the bow ties for each actor

Dan= Blue
Darren= Purple
Nick= Green

I am not going to pass judgement on Nick and hold the fact that he was in a boy band against him (which I think is most peoples qualms) I wasn't impressed by his Marius but I will see him in How to and make my own opinion :) A tad bummed I won't be seeing Criss.

At least he doesn't look constipated, like he did throughout the Les Miz concert. In that photo, it looks like he JUST had that sh*t that was causing so many problems.

I am glad that I am not the only one who noticed that look on his face throughout the Le Miz concert. I would like to see the show again but will not see it while he is in.

I like that he has a new bow tie. I don't like that they changed the background for him but not for Darren as well as the way the type is laid out. If anyone was collecting window cards as a series, it would have looked nice if they had some consistency.

How to Succeed isn't as demanding as Les Mis (not that Marius was THAT demanding as a role). He made me cringe in Les Mis but I thought he did well as Link in Hairspray.

Every shred of footage of his Link Larkin is offensive to me. He only made a good Link in still photographs. Personal talent opinion aside, Nick Jonas was either not capable or flat out not willing to execute the choreography as staged (watch a video clip of him during Nicest Kids in Town... it isn't that he couldn't dance, it's that he seemed to just not care or make any effort) and his entire performance was peppered with character and period inappropriate behavior that, at times, was flat out lewd and vulgar. Jonas clearly had not the slightest clue about the 1960s. I sure hope he does better in this, but Link Larkin masturbating his guitar during "It Takes Two" and 'zipping up' after being in the cab with Tracy? That isn't waters-esque, NO ONE would be allowed to do that on a 1960s television program...

I agree as well - what was with the pain and grief in Niok's face while singing Marius? I noticed a similar expression from the boy band (Big Time Rush) that sang "All I want for Christmas is You" on the NBC tree lighting. Most of the time they are singing with their eyes closed and their face crunched in pain.

I think it's horrible how they don't have the entire title! It's the poster for the show! You should be able to look at the poster and read what the name of the show you're seeing is.

Last time I checked, wasn't the point of How to Succeed is that Finch is dorky but lovable and manipulative. Not a teen heartthrob.

Robert Morse must be rolling his eyes right now.

Nick Jonas doesn't even look like he's gonna make the part funny.

my guess is Aaron Carter will follow Nick Jonas with the red bowtie until the end of 2012. Then Darren Criss will return for another limited winter run with the same color bowtie followed by Mario Lopez in February 2013 with an orange bowtie. Since Lopez will drag the show down and flat out suck, it'll close by April 2013.

I'm not a fan but are you sure these were his ideas? Couldn't the director have said "hey I think this might be funny"?

I'm just not sure he could think of it on his own.

Jerry Mitchell directed and choreographed. Do you REALLY think Jerry Mitchell would have staged those moments?

The guitar incident was during "It Takes Two", on the line "And Liz, well she had her Dick" and the zipper happened in act two after Link says that he only got to "first base in the back of the cab." He took those references in VERY lewd and literal ways that a half wit who didn't understand tact or the period would. Mitchell wouldn't stage those moments with that happening.
