Yeah she can definitely belt out that song. Too bad she couldn't have made her Broadway debut in the Evita revival.

You can hear the sadness and longing in her voice

I've never had any interest in Cats but I'd see it for Nicole. I've loved her voice since The Pussycat Dolls (not that I'm crazy enough to think the rest of them could sing). She got a little loopy on those singing competitions but I like this new theatre reinvention.
Yeah I just hope Webber is treating her better than he treated Patti Lupone.

A powerfully beautiful rendition but nothing can match Betty Buckley's ~ Memory!

For me, no one can match Betty Buckley's voice period. I don't get the chills from anyone else's singing.

I'm so confused... didn't Kerry Butler replace her?

She's far too young for the role and hasn't learned the lesson of never sing louder than beautiful. Just because you are able to belt to heaven doesn't mean you should.

WIlmington, I have to disagree. Girl is killing it. I can hear the sadness, the unevenness. The sorrow, the despair. It's beautiful. I'd sit through 2 hrs of crap to listen to hear sing this.
The Album Version is a pale comparison to the Tony Awards Performance which was insane- Her Notes on "Touch Me" are out of this world!!
Betty Buckley's Memory
Nicole's version just did not effect me at all, It was good though.
Dead behind the eyes, dull behind the tonsils.
Im really surprised by how many raves she is getting, her performance is good but nothing to go mad over

The biggest thrill I ever had in a theater was when Betty Buckley sang Memory. Nothing and nobody touches it... Nicole is good, but not better than many who have done it since the originals. Liz Calloway was much better than Nicole...But Andrew seems to be pumping Nicole up for some reason. As I said she is good..a bit to young to believe that she has suffered. Betty Buckley is /was and always will be the best Grizabella. ...
Bryan, Have you seen Nicole Live?
