I've never had any interest in Cats but I'd see it for Nicole. I've loved her voice since The Pussycat Dolls (not that I'm crazy enough to think the rest of them could sing). She got a little loopy on those singing competitions but I like this new theatre reinvention.
She's far too young for the role and hasn't learned the lesson of never sing louder than beautiful. Just because you are able to belt to heaven doesn't mean you should.

WIlmington, I have to disagree. Girl is killing it. I can hear the sadness, the unevenness. The sorrow, the despair. It's beautiful. I'd sit through 2 hrs of crap to listen to hear sing this.
The Album Version is a pale comparison to the Tony Awards Performance which was insane- Her Notes on "Touch Me" are out of this world!! Betty Buckley's Memory
The biggest thrill I ever had in a theater was when Betty Buckley sang Memory. Nothing and nobody touches it... Nicole is good, but not better than many who have done it since the originals. Liz Calloway was much better than Nicole...But Andrew seems to be pumping Nicole up for some reason. As I said she is good..a bit to young to believe that she has suffered. Betty Buckley is /was and always will be the best Grizabella. ...
