It's there, but it hasn't proved to be very popular. There's been a decided lack of "I'm so excited for them!" and "I can't wait!"

It dropped down on the page. Is this a sign that there are less people interested in opening nights? Used to be just about every show got a thread and a lot of people posted the reviews and their thoughts. I can't believe I was the one to post the Times review.

I think it's lack of interest/understanding in Pee Wee. Someone on here the other day was talking about it being a "kid's show."

Huh. Amazing how quick his fame dissipated.
I just figured he rubs people the wrong way. I think PeeWee on Broadway is a stroke of genius. I am hoping he's going to make another film but I'm afraid he's got his hands full right now.

I had a wonderful time at the show. And the fact that it made the horrible John Simon miserable for an hour and a half is a charming bonus.

Me too. Was there for the opening last night. I was smiling from ear to ear. And shouting every time the secret word was said. Poor, dear Sutton Foster was sitting in front of me. I fear I made her deaf.

Nothing against Pee-wee, but I guess my issue is that of all the first productions to play in the newly-christened Sondheim Theatre...

The No PeeWee review thread is twice as long as the Pee Wee review thread. Figure that one out, Magic Screen!
BTW, I thought the repair guy was kinda cute, but I was hoping they would bring back the lifeguard character from the show's first season.

I kept trying to get Sergio, the repair guy, to look at me at the afterparty. It didn't happen.

Sergio the Repair guy was really good... so different from the role of the closeted gangster in the movie Quinceneras... good movie.. check it out...
and i'm so glad people are loving the show... it was received so well out here in LA and the fans loved it
