Does anyone know which tours will become non equity or go out non equity for the 2013-2014 season?

Where's your information that Ghost is going Non-Eq? I would think with all those tech elements it would be tough to go non-eq.

Peter and the star catcher is not mon- equ Phoenix Entertainment is only a supervisor on the tour, similar to what Networks does with their equity tours.

Troika also produces some Equity shows (see PRISCILLA). So GHOST could still go equity.
As for NETworks, they produce their Equity tours (sometimes with the original producers, sometimes on their own), they don't just supervise.
In the case of Phoenix, they usually help oversee Equity tours, then send out the non eq version when it closes (which was what their deal was on Rock of Ages).

Actually they're not presenting anything. They're producing. Local venues/organizations present.
IE, when you see a show at Playhouse Square in Cleveland in their Broadway Series, Playhouse Square presents those shows, which are produced by, well, the producers (in this conversation Priscilla is produced by Troika, Presented by Playhouse Square).

Spamalot is non-equity, but I believe they are closing in April.
You scared me there willep! TUTS in Houston is doing SPAMalot this season, and i had to check when it was happening. It runs May 14-26. So, I guess they're doing it all in house! YAY!
I don't think TUTS has ever done a non-eq tour...
The OP is very cold and looks perverted in my P.J.s.
TMI, I know. *shrug*
There was a non-equity tour of A Chorus Line out recently. I saw a clip of the opening number on YouTube and I swear the orchestra sounded like it was generated by midi. It made my poor ears shrivel up and die.
I'm still impressed by that Hairspray non-equity tour I saw in Costa Mesa awhile back. Totally beat the odds and I felt I saw an actual Broadway caliber production...with a really crappy sound system. Everything else was top notch though. Rare.
Is Mamma Mia going non-eq a sign of the times or what? I know the Broadway production is sort of steering to a closure soon, but I'm still surprised it's going Non-Eq. I guess they haven't played the smaller markets yet.

My Oh My, do you happened to have a link to that chorus line clip? They played a one night here in Portland, OR, that was part of one of are biggest blockbuster seasons yet. Let's just say there were several patron complaints to our local presenters. Mics going in and out, sketchy lighting cues, and at times loud noises from the off stage crew.

A couple years ago they scaled the set for the tour WAY back. Smaller walls and a less intricate deck. The show looked terrible, and the cast (an equity cast) was abysmal. I don't see how going non-eq at this point could make it any worse than the most recent incarnation I saw. While I don't LOVE the show, I did thoroughly enjoy it the three times I saw it on tour before it got scaled down so badly. It looked extremely cheap.
JohnyBroadway, I tried locating that clip for you to see, but wasn't successful.
There are several very high quality promo clips, which I'm sure most of you have seen, of the recent non-equity tour. And unless you're unfamiliar with the Broadway revival cast recording, you will think I'm nuts because the orchestra sounds every bit as good on those clips as it does on the revival recording.
But see, non-equity tours have non-equity tour advertising techniques, and those promo clips feature images of their cast performing and lip-synching to the actual Broadway revival cast recording. So you'll buy your over-priced tickets thinking that's what the show is going to sound like, until you take a seat and that midi machine gets fired up and piped into blue super speaker.
Is this it?
