I'm wondering if any Broadway or off-Broadway shows have matinees on weekdays other than Wednesdays. I'm planning a trip soon and I've booked tickets for evening shows every day plus Wednesday and weekend matinees, but I'm wondering if there are shows with other matinee days also.
Depending on when you're going, Moulin Rouge has Thursday matinees listed on their schedule for certain weeks. Phantom does as well starting in December.
Nope, the "updated" thing just states the original time you posted. You posted about Wednesday matinees and two minutes later I corrected you. Another minute later you edited your post. Again, I would have seen your original post since I commented on it. That's how things work. Anyways, Im done with the back and forth. Read more carefully next time and don't lie about edit times.
I don't know if they still do, but Phantom used to do thursday afternoons.

I really don’t understand why more shows don’t stagger the traditional schedule. It’s becoming more and more common, but even still it’s strange that we don’t see more of it. I can’t think of any downsides to if, honestly. It provides more options for audiences, and less competition for producers. It’s more common in the UK to see Tuesday or Thursday matinees - not sure why it’s so rare here.
