What I did was there is a cafe right across the street from the stage door. And I had a cup of coffe by the bar in the window (so i was looking out) and so like two hours later when he came out and nobody was ther i went up to him and stagedoored him. He is so nice, and his dauters were there. And he is the best daddy in the world.

Girl #2: "don't worry, I promise it'll be a good experience"
Girl #1: "are you sure it won't hurt? and what if it means more to me than it does to him?"
Girl #2: "none of that matters, come ON you get the chance to STAGEDOOR him and you might pass it up because you're afraid?"
Girl #1: "oh he just smiled at me again, that's it...I'm gonna stagedoor him so hard. LET'S GO!"

Posted: 12/17/05 at 6:40pmHe came out when I saw it in October, he signed, but didn't take pictures. However, it was pouring rain and I didn't ask him (it felt kind of rude in the weather to make him stop, and it was my first stage door ever and I was nervous). Greg Jbara, on the other hand is the biggest sweetie when someone wants a pic. He has no problem stopping. I say ask. The worst he can do is say no. Good luck! Post the pic if you get one.

Posted: 12/17/05 at 7:15pmI stagedoored Norbert last month, after a Wed matinee show, there were like 8-10 people there, and no security person. I didn't take a pic, but he did take a pic with the "OMG I loved you in Wicked" screaming fangirls that were there.

Yeah. They were just kinda young and annoying in general (no offense to the young on this board, but: the proper response when an actor comes out of the stage door is not "OMG now that my hair is all messed up, of course now you come out to take pictures with us. Hold on let me check my makeup." Seriously.), and then the Wicked line killed it.
Although at least they were able to talk- I am crushing so hard on Norbert right now and managed to get out "um...yeah...um...so...Ireallyloveyourshow," or something like that, in between remembering to breathe. :)

John hadn't even come out the stage door yet. As for the picture, I took it on a regular camera, not my digital, so I am not sure if I can scan it in. I'll try.

I think it would be hilarious if someone had him sign a $20 and then spent it...so it then circulated throughout the country in the monetary system.
Some fangirl in New Mexico working at a restaurant and getting paid with a $20 bill signed by Norbert Leo Butz? PRICELESS.

He's a great guy. Comes out almost everytime. He will sign stuff for you, maybe a couple of things if you ask. He signed two things for me without me even asking. He will tell you he cant take a picture with you but you can take pictures of him. he will chat with you while hes going around.
