OMG, YAAY! I finally saw the last musical I had to see to get any nominations today, the Threepenny Opera.,..,and after finally seeing Jim Dale, I decided Christian deserved it. What a great surprise!
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

Christian was my upset pick of the night, but I still really wanted Mano. Damn.

I was hoping for Mano to win, but I thought it was a lock for Jim Dale. I am really happy for Christian Hoff. He really seemed surprised and I of course screamed in my living room (and probably woke up my mother). At least there was one surprise so far tonight.
