BwayBaby... dont get me wrong... Beth is great in "TDC", but I dont think her performance stands out as much as Felicia Field's does in "TCP"...
I am a HUGE fan of "Drowsy", having seen it 5x so far, but to me, its the ensemble that makes it.. I dont really see a standout performance in the show (and I think thats why I love it so much)- Everyone is just so good !! To me, Bob Martin is the show - (as much as a love Sutton)
Ok, so now that I am about to fall asleep after that "TP" performance !! OY !!!

Anyone else wishing they had more clips from past shows? That part was way too brief to sum up 60 yrs.

Wow, that performance definitely did NOT end with a bang. It was more like a...fizzle. Notice it was like a 7-second pause before anyone noticed it was over and applauded. HAha. I love Alan Cumming though. I usually love Cyndi Lauper, too, but she didn't sound very good.

Beth's performance at the podium was funnier than her performance at the Marquis.

Why would you care if she knew she was going to win?
Beth Leavel gives a fantastic performance in Drowsy; does it really matter if she wants to give a "performance" in her everyday life as well?

Sara looked terrible...... all of the medcine made her put on the pounds.... or that dress didn't help.. she looked like a younder tyne daly , no not a compliment.
Beth has always been in charater in her speeches i feel. She just likes to play the part. She is the sweetest woman alive.

Does no one watch Grey's? Sara has been looking like a "manbeast" in every episode she's been in. Why was she so excited for Beth? Have they worked together or just friends? And I loved Beth's speech.

Yep, you get the feeling Beth is appreciating every moment of it. And I love it and am feeling it w/ her.

A few thoughts on the show so far:
1. I love TR Knight (and blue hair rocks)!
2. The guy in the front row doing all of Wedding Singer's dance moves was kinda annoying!
3. Alan Cummings is scary (and even though that number won't help sell too many tickets, i think, I definitely want to go see it now).
4. I liked the musical performances so far (TPO was weird but not horrible). Sweeney, JB, DC, and WS were fab in my opinion.
5. I'm not sure I like it without a host. It's not going badly, but there is nothing really holding the whole show together. I kinda miss the in-between transition stuff that a host usually does.
Ok... the commercials are ending soon. Gotta get back to the couch.
