Yeah, I heard about this remake of John Waters' HAIRSPRAY.
From what I've read, Velma is played by Jessica Simpson and her sister Ashley is playing Amber. Perfect casting, I tell you!
Can't wait to see Harvey Fierstein reprising his Edna on the big screen! He's going to be larger-than-life! 
I also read that Queen Latifah might be playing Motormouth Maybelle. Hope she takes the role -- she'd be PERFECT!
