The best possible choice who I know for a fact REALLY wants to replace Christina is - Paige Davis. But sadly the Weissler's wont give it to her because she is not a "huge name."

I can also see SJP and Kelly Rippa.

But I can list TONS of Broadway actresses I'd love to see in the role, but it would never happen.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE Bebe Neuwirth to play Charity again. but sadly she will never work for Barry & Fran again.

And pardon my ignorance, but what has Paige Davis done before? I looked her up on ibdb.com and she was a replacement in Chicago, has she done anything else?

Paige Davis trained and performned in Theatre for many years before hitting it big on "trading spaces." She is a real triple threat.

Professionally she's played Roxie Hart on Broadway (also on tour) and Babette on the Beauty and The Beast tour.

Regionally she's played

Wait wait. Isn't one criticism of Applegate bandied around on here that she's too young for the role of Charity? Brittany Murphy is six years YOUNGER than her. And as for her being too big a movie star, really? With the exception of a supporting role in Sin City, she hasn't been in a well received movie for 5 years.
