'Tony Tony Tony'

Hey, hey flame. Welcome around. 'Tony Tony Tony'

thespian geek, did your friend like Spamalot? And is your friend a Monty Python?

She liked the show well enough but admitted that she's never understood Monty Python or British humor.. so it wasn't all *that* funny to her.

'Tony Tony Tony'

Emcee? TYPE THAT UP AND POST IT!

Sorry I've been kind of dead lately. New job is sucking out my soul and ruining my online social life. *Cries*

That picture cracks me up! I'd buy the Newsweek, but I'm poor.

'Tony Tony Tony'

Someone needs to smack me for being so obsessed with the current RENT touring cast. They're costing me SO. MUCH. MONEY.
#406

'Tony Tony Tony'

He was rehearsing "Which Way Is The Party?" which ended up being "Dancing Through Life". I have no idea what Stephen Schwartz was thinking when he wrote the former and I feel bad that Norbert had to sing/perform it multiple times. Augh. *Shudder*

'Tony Tony Tony'

I think that Winkie beer line is the only one I liked.

Tony Tony Tony-Grrrrrrrrrr

Gotta love the media.. they're going to favor who they think the public will favor. The only thing Spamalot has going for it is it's star-power.

Another new article with Norbert

1. Love the bit about how licking and dry-humping John isn't as fun as kissing the girls in Wicked.

2. Love the fact that his daughters are still mad at him for leaving Wicked in the first place (this was just too cute).

3. He lives in Millburn, NJ? Was that smart to publish? Another new article with Norbert

4. What he said about him and Sherie not being able to wait to get out of the Midwest? SO TRUE. I should know. I live in Nebraska. >.<

Another new article with Norbert

That article mentioned he lived in NJ, but not what city. I don't even know where in NJ Millburn is. Right across the river, I'd assume?

Another new article with Norbert

I'd say I'm being totally overwhelmed by all these new DRS/Norbert pictures, but that's just not true. KEEP 'EM COMING!

By the way? Adam's hair scares me.

Today's the day!

My 2 cents--listen to it beginning to end without distraction. Read the booklet for background. The first time I put it on, I was baking a cake, distracted, and thought, "Why did I buy this?" Now, I am obsessed with it. Norbert's voice is amazing!

Let us know what you think.

Yeah, we're on page 26!

Today's the day!

Thank you--Norbert looks adorable in this picture, don't you agree?

Dirty Rotten Ruprecht

I think they'll do "Dirty Rotten Number" because it showcases both leads, but the same could be said for "All about Ruprecht", which I think would sell more tickets.

Mature Dignity--what else have you seen Norbert in? L5Y? If yes, can you tell be about his performance in it?

Dirty Rotten Ruprecht

Speaking of Jane Curtin....just found this..from Playbill.com

Director Gordon Davidson, actor John Lithgow and film/TV writer and business entrepreneur Chris Campbell will be honored by the National Corporate Theatre Fund next month.

The Fund's Annual Chairman's Awards Gala will be held April 4 at the Essex House and will feature Jane Curtin, recently on Broadway in the Noises Off revival, as Master of Ceremonies. David Hyde Pierce, Anna Deavere Smith and Rosalyn and Irwin Engelman will present the honorees with their awards. Lithgow will receive the Theatre Artist Award, Davidson will be given the NCTF Leadership Award, and Campbell will be honored with the Corporate Leadership Award.

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with cocktails, followed by dinner at 7:30 PM. The black-tie event will also include a silent auction and a musical presentation directed and choreographed by Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' Denis Jones and a tribute performance by The Light in the Piazza's Kelli O'Hara.

Norb in DRS!!!

I know basically nothing about The Confidence Man, but I know it's something he did awhile ago and he has a song on there called "Pain..." somethingorother. I can't remember. *Blush*

And I've heard mid-May (everything from May 10th to the 17th) for the release date of the DRS cast recording.

DRS and American Theatre Wing seminar with Norb/Sherie

Re The Confidence Man It was a show that never ended up being produced but in the end they did a recording w a number of people recording different songs frm the score.(1998 I think) Norb is on the 1st track w Yancy Arrias & the chorus "New Orleans is Coming to Me" He sounds great on it! The other song is "Pain Humbles" & is more of a patter type song but Norb does such great things w the lyric & his voice that my only regret is H doesn't do the rest of the recording! ( Can there BE enuf fo Norbert singing?) The rest of recording is not so special but I found it worth it just for the Norb tracks.( This is SO sad! Don't encourage me....)
