Any chance this is going to be recorded? Legally, that is...

"Wow...it really wasn't that bad."
Marlene- are you kidding? I would have had a panick attack just SEEING the crowd. To be in a crowd that large is just...stupidity, IMO.
If someone told me they got me a ticket for the 1st row for 20$ but I could only get it if I came to the lotto- I'd say no. Thats how much those kind of crowds frighten me.
Maybe I have a really bad perception as to how many people were actually there... I was never good at guessing how many jellybeans were in the jar. But to be honest it doesn't look as bad as I thought it was going to be, but then again I wasn't there, I only have the pictures. I don't have a problem with crowds as long as no one is crowd surfing...or if it isn't a mosh pit. I don't enjoy mosh pits or crazy sweaty people. Which is why I rarely go to shows downtown...
27 minutes into the performance. Oh how I wish I were there...

didn't the show start at 6:45?
Call me naive, but I don't understand the joke "and Kristin Chenoweth is not allowed within a two mile radius of the Nederlander" explain?

Because Idina will be there and rumor has it that there is no love lost between the two.
Oh, come on. Idina and I have Kristin over for breakfast all the time.

You're better women than I. Good for you for being able to stand Cheno's speaking voice so early in the morning.
Didn't Cheno shoot Tony?
I wish I was there tonight.
It's all fake. Her speaking voice is much like the offspring of Harvey Firestein & Barry White.

Is it true that she's also really six feet tall?

it sounds like it's full staging. they've been going in order, and the timing is right. i'm curious about costumes.
my friend just called me and i got to listen to a bit of you'll see.
^^wait, I thought you were at the show, unless I am confusing you with someone else on SB...

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are at the show tonight. Wireimage.com has arrival pictures up but only of them so far.

yes, i'm on SB, but i did lotto and lost.
That's because Timothy Britten Parker is Sarah Jessica's brother.

Just came back from the lottery...obviously, I lost badly. No one around me even won! But seeing Frenchie and Constantine read the names was amazing. Hey, did you guys see Adam leaning out of the window on the left of that tent thing, he was wearing a grean sweatshirt? Yup, that was him. Anyhoo, if anyone won or was there on this board, give us a full report! I'm still praying for a video of any kind. I told my parents that I need to see at least 2 seconds of this before I die :)

It seems as if Frenchie Davis was the only celebrity so far to listen to the "come as you are" notice.
Celebs in attendance so far:
Sarah Jessica Parker
Matthew Broderick
Frenchie Davis
Mike Nichols
Wilson Cruz
Joey Fatone
Mayor Bloomberg
Luke Perry
Jonathan Tisch
Marin Mazzie

i just got to listen to 2 minutes of over the moon!
*spazzes*
Did you ask if it's full staging? I have been assuming that was one of the big "closely guarded secrets" about tonight... That's so neat you got to listen !:)

i didn't actually get to talk to them, i just listened. but 5 minutes before i started my friend said that the set is completely normal, there's copies of the libretto onstage, and they are going in order, from the phone calls i've pieced together. i just don't know about costumes, but it's safe to say that they're definitely going through the whole show.
That lotto was insane. Definitely more crazy than Idina's last day in Wicked.
I'm disappointed now and wish I were there, but I will be over it tomorrow.
At least I saw the OBC 7 or 8 times when the show first came out.
That lotto crowd was damn frightening. TOO many people.
