I another post about DRS losing its charm the second time around seeing it (it was Munk's post) and it just made me wonder, what shows did you really, really like but you think once is enough or you saw it a second time and decided that once was enough? I would have to say Phantom of the Opera. I *might* go see that again, just if my parents buy the tickets because I know they want to see it, however, it probably is a show that once was enough.
DRS was a "once is enough" for me...i won't see it again even if it's for free.

Gee, they all start with the same letter...
Most shows I'm mostly satisfied after seeing once, but I'd go to see something again. I try to see lots of things versus one thing over and over. It gives me a wide scope.

Whoops.
For me, it was Hairspray. It was enjoyable and cute at times but I'm fine with only seeing it once.
oh Wicked, once you know the twist of the show is kinda pointless seeing the show again.
Yeah I'd probably only see Wicked one more time just because, or if there was someone I wanted to see in it.

Les Mis. Enjoyed it when I saw it. Never want to see it again.

I enjoyed (to varying degrees) Hairspray, Wicked, and Phantom when I saw them, but I have no real desire to see any of them a second time. I know there are others (others that I enjoyed more than these 3), but I can't think of any off the top of my head. I kind of like those shows (especially when there's so much to see out there). You see a show, enjoy your 2 1/2 hours, and then, "eh, once was enough."
I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, but The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. I enjoyed it a lot, and it was very funny, but it's not something that I necessarily felt compelled to see for a second time.

In general, I would only want to see a show more than once is for a particular performence that I enjoy.
