Alternatively, you can stroll up to the box office 20 minutes before curtain and buy a $59.50 ticket. I was able to snag a 3rd row seat by doing that.

Anybody try this lately? How crowded are Sunday evenings usually?

I’ll be there too! just curious as to what to expect. Looks like tonight’s show doesn’t have many tickets left.

Update: went to the evening lottery. Smaller crowd, guessing maybe 30 or so people. Only had standing room tickets available the show was sold out. Alex was out but almost the whole cast minus Lea came out to sign. Hailey is a total sweetheart.

I did the lottery on Saturday 4/21 matinee . There were about 40 people for 20 tickets, but they also did a Lottery Lossr drawing for $59.95 tickets (as others earlier stated). We got those tickets Orchestra D 119 and 121 - fantastic seats. The box office sells SRO when the show is sold out (which it was not before the lottery).
FYI this lotto is drawn 1.5 hours before show time. The Mean Girls lotto is two blocks away and is drawn 2 hours before show time, so it is possible to try for both lottos.

If anyone is going in the next week, can someone ask about the drawing times for the lottery for the Sunday evening (7:30pm) lottery. The website isn’t clear if it is 60 minutes or 90 minutes before.

It's always 90 minutes before regardless of when the performance is.

You are correct. I could have sworn I read somewhere about the lottery being 60 minutes before for Sunday’s somewhere. I copied this info straight from their website in case it helps someone on here.

Sorry, this isn't directly related to the thread topic but does Lea ever stage door after a show? I've had the opportunity to catch the show 2 weeks ago and everyone but Lea came out to sign, as well. We got great seats off TKTS though so we had an excellent view of Lea and everyone else during the show!

At the beginning of the run, she would always come out, but she hasn't lately. It's probably because she's been doing the backstage tours for BCEFA. That or she would rather not come out and sign while her daughter is in town.

I see. That makes sense. Was happy to have met everyone else though! Really talented cast and everyone seemed genuinely nice.

She came out and signed at the stage door today. Since Easter Bonnet is over, I guess it really was because of the backstage tours.

Oh man, guess I just had bad timing. Would have really loved to meet her.

Hoping to win some tickets tomorrow... anyone been on a Monday (or any day) lately and can give an update on crowd size and whether or not they offered loser tickets? Thanks!

I was there tonight. I had a ticket already but went for the lotto for DH. He said there were about 40 to 50 people there and the price for the regular lottery was $49.50. They gave out 20 tickets for the first phase. After those were drawn, they had lotto losers tickets for $59.50. Everyone left got those and DH was the very last name picked out and called.
When I got there about 7:15pm, I saw a few people getting the lotto loser price by just walking up to the box office.
It looked sold out except for a few seats in the last row of the 400 section. DH’s ticket was D 411.

I was there tonight as well. The person running the lottery said they had 20 winning tickets for $49.50 and 20 "loser" tickets for $59.50 for this show. She followed up saying that means that everyone who entered would be able to get into the show. I got maybe the 16th ticket? and got seat E 220, which was fantastic.
I Won back in January on a cold Wednesday afternoon. I Was thinking about trying again next Wednesday afternoon...has the lottery picked up much from then because when I went almost everyone won.
Two weeks ago, I lost the lottery but they told everyone who lost we could get discounted seats for $10 more. We were towards the back of the line and we ended up with fantastic third-row seats for $60 each.

Probably depends on the day...last Monday when I went, they only had lottery for SRO as they managed to sell out during the day (the box office couldn't believe it themselves). There were probably easily 70+ people there for the draw.
I met someone on Saturday who did the lottery for Friday last week and she said they were drawing loser lottery as well and there seemed to be plenty of tickets left for those.

Has there been any absences in the cast lately? I’m hoping to try for the lottery sometime in the next few days!

Which days do they sell $39 tickets? I keep only reading about the $49 tickets despite what their website says, which has me thinking I should just use TDF for this show.

They haven't sold $39.50 tickets in months. They're all $49.50 now or lottery loser for $10 more regardless of what their website still says.

Thank you for the info. The tickets are basically the same price on TDF when it pops up so there's no point for me to even attempt the lottery. $50 for a lottery ticket and especially standing room is ridiculous. I don't see what you're "winning" at that price.
