I just saw that and was coming here to edit my post. Didn't realize their schedule was so different (yeesh, it's been too long since I visited the city!). Thanks for the heads up though!
That being said, I see 1 ticket left for the playbill discount that comes to $71 with fees, but a lot of tickets left for the show at higher prices. Does that at all effect the lottery? Is it better to spend the extra $10-$20 and just buy that ticket now? I'll kick myself if I miss it but also if I see I could've won the lottery for a little less money and gotten a better seat...

I did the lotto on Saturday evening. Decent crowd, we were all informed that there would be no seats offered, 20 SRO only. Most people still entered. They then announced that there would be 10 seated tickets and 28 SRO.
Everyone got in (many people put their names in and then left? So they did not receive tickets and another name was called). I got SRO, great view, absolutley worth it for $49
Oh, and two people gave up their wins once they realised they had entered and won the lotto for Once On This Island, not Wicked. That was pretty hilarious.

They were so close to seeing a superior show...

I'm thinking of going in and trying the lotto for a Saturday matinee - how much is it now usually?

Is there no longer a lottery? The website only mentions rush.

Correct - They changed from a lottery to rush a week ago.
