"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
I often find that although I love the theatre, I can't always sit through a given production more than once - let alone every night.
I would have to say that I could probably sit through GREY GARDENS every night. It's the only show on Broadway right now that could possibly hold my attention time and time again.
And although when it was on Broadway I only saw it twice, I would love to spend 2 hours every evening with Julie White in THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED. Ugh, what a GREAt time.
"If you are going to do something, do it well. And leave something witchy."-Charlie Manson
I wanted to get tickets to Spring Awakening again the second the show was over.
I would definitely see Jersey Boys again. And Wicked. Chicago I would see again. The Lion King most def. And The Color Purple.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~

How much do I regret only seeing it the closing performance?! I would have loved to see the show agian. She was a hoot to say the least! I was in such awe of Julie White's performance during and after the show.
Rent (the last notes of the show make me want to start the whole journey over again)
Spring Awakening. It is played in my car almost every day, so I assume that if I lived in NYC that I would see it often.
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?
