As many of you may know the 2007 Tony Award winner for Best Musical "Spring Awakening" will unfortunately end its Broadway run on January 18th 2009. Now the reason why I'm writing this note is to tell everyone we still have a few weeks left. If you haven’t seen it I urge all of you to make an attempt to see this amazing musical before it's too late. This musical combines real rock music with teenage issues. It helps bring issues teenagers are facing to the surface that would otherwise not be easy to talk about. Now, you ask how I can get tickets to see this amazing musical.
Well there is a # of ways
The most well known one is by visiting the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Theater Box office at 230 West 49th Street Manhattan NY or by calling Telecharge at (212)239-6200 or visiting Telecharge.com
If you’re a student the theater offers Student rush tickets.
These tickets go on sale when the box office opens and are $27 each they are usually side seats in the Orchestra, these tickets require a valid student ID and there is a limit of 2 per ID.
Or if you really want a fun experience and have seen the show before
They also offer
ONSTAGE seating which are $40 each and you are actually onstage with the actors. (I've done it many times and it’s an amazing experience).
I've seen the show 10 times and am going back for my 11en in a couple weeks.
If your looking for a Broadway show to see look no further this is the one.
"Broadway may never be the same"
"Those you've known and lost still walk behind you"
Is this for real?
I figured it out Coolkid IS Crazy SA Girl!!!

There is nothing "revolutionary" about SA. If you want to know about teenage issues, open a book. It doesn't require Stomping & music to know about teenagers.

That video
I'm 30 seconds in, I'm dieing.
Everyone knows about the closing, Coolkid
Bye Bye Spring Awakening :]
She's my idol.
Oh, crazy SA girl... you have provided me with many minutes of laughter.
YOU CANNOT SAVE SPRING AWAKENING. Its time has come and it's over. It has a limited audience base and they cannot expand upon it. Not everyone loves this show or thinks it the best thing ever.
do you REALLY think that:
1. People on this board don't know how to get tickets?
2. This will make a difference?
3. Anyone takes you seriously?

I feel this is a good thread to confess on.
I didn't like Rent.
Coolkid's signature reminded me
There. I'm out!
Feels good...
I liked Spring Awakening and will miss it terribly.
hahahahahaha did she honestly count wicked and chicago as closing?!?! lol
and she didnt mean to have a potty mouth...
omg she made me laugh!!!
This sounds like a third grade book report.
All I can say is:
1. Thanks for the laughs; and
2. Thank GOD SA is closing!
Is it wrong that I really don't care about this show closing?
I think she said Wicked in Chicago. Is this girl for real? Seems I read that she is actually doing this as a joke. I could be wrong.
As far as seeing Spring Awakening. coolkid, the show is on tour. People will get to see it. I saw it at the Atlantic and will most likely not see it on tour. I want to keep my Atlantic experience with the show.
That sounds like a poorly done monologue. I was ready to kick that girl in the face.

Was she video chatting someone while doing it lol?
Whenever I'm down in the dumps, having a bad day, or in a sad mood...I turn to crazy SA girl to lift my spirits and give me a good laugh! Thanks crazy SA girl!
I was never that big of a fan of SA anyway...

bahahaha
i guess this in response to SA girl
Wow, this almost sickens me. Someone just needed a way to vent their feelings about a show they obiouly love and all most of you can do is rub it in their face. I understand if you don't like the show, but you don't have to post negative comments. Well, i feel for you. I'm sad Spring Awakening is closing. I really wanted to see it. I love the music bc it applys to my generation. Thats prolly why I adore it so much. Too bad.
Oh, this thread title scared me. I thought it was going to say that [TOS] was closing. Now THAT would be the end of Broadway as we know it.

I feel bad how much I get a laugh out of this.
"I was going to play Elphaba and Glinda at the same time. Because I'm that talented."
Too funny.
Haha. I love parodys.
