I hear there is very limited availability for the Gala, as well.
How wonderful for Lincoln Center!

Would have been better to have aaron lazar sing this than morrison.
I am incredibly bummed that I didn't find out about this until after the tickets were sold out (see profile pic).
If anyone has an extra ticket, please let me know.
I, too, was beyond over-the-moon thrilled that they were planning on doing this... and then crushed and sobbed that there were no more tickets. This stands as my most perfect theatrical memories from some of my earliest Broadway experiences: that set, the lighting, the costuming, the orchestra, and of course, the performers.
If anyone is interested, I have a pair of tickets to Hamilton for Tuesday, June 7th at 7 p.m. (right orchestra) and will trade for a pair of tickets to this concert. Send me a message if you are interested. Desperate to attend!

Hi everyone. I have never been to an invent like this before and I was wondering whether anyone has any insights in what attire is appropriate? I was planning to wear nice slacks and a sweater but I know there is a gala associated with this (I'm not going to that) and wanted to make sure I didn't need to be dressier for the concert.
Thanks in advance.

The side orchestra seats at the Vivian Blaine are actually not bad seats unless you are in the last few rows and way over near the side wall. It's a small theater.
All week Lincoln Center Theater has been running ads saying to see The King and I now if you want to see Kelli O'Hara, because April 17th is her last performance. But she has is out of the show this week from Thursday through Sunday. Some theatergoers going to see it this weekend are going to be unhappy that Kelli isn't there after responding to that ad.
Kelli O'Hara posted this pic of her and Matthew Morrison today on her facebook page. She captioned it: "My Fabrizio". Awesome!
Love!!

This concert reunites the original cast. Aaron Lazar didn't play "Fabrizio" in the Original Broadway Cast, so therefore he has no place in this concert.

taylor, you are getting a little bit screwed on your StubHub listing. They are listed as Loge Side, while, if your seat numbers are correct, they are actually in Loge Center Right, and just two seats off the center aisle.
This is a considerably more attractive location.
Especially at $180 dollars, these are the best deal available right now, the only minor drawback is having to pick up the tickets before the show.

How in god's name did Kelli O'Hara not win a Tony for that?!? I didn't see the original show but even from the concert... She just killed me. What a joyous evening. My heart is bursting.
Perfect. That's all I can say. I was a total, sobbing mess the entire evening. It felt like no time had passed at all from 2005 till now.
What at an astoundingly beautiful evening.

She absolutely should have! Sara Ramirez just gave a much bigger performance. But Kelli was simply magical.

I mean I had heard people say she should've won the Tony. But not seeing either performance, I didn't really get it. Until now. I mean I didn't see Ramirez so I'm totally talking out of turn, but Kelli's performance even in concert was SO BEAUTIFUL. She melted my heart. It's hard to imagine any Lady of the Lake beating that out. (Although my dislike of Spamalot could be affecting that slightly...)
Regardless, the point is she was perfection. Victoria Clark was perfection. Matthew Morrison was perfection. The orchestra was perfection. It made me sublimely happy. I was worried seeing this would just make me sad I didn't see the original, but all it did was make me feel so lucky to be there.
Matthew Morrison's pants alone were worth the price of admission. Absolutely stunning evening.
Perfect. My heart was both full and shattered all at the same time, and I started wiping away tears with the first note.
I was in the moment and reliving 10 years ago all at once.
It was magical and beautiful and... Perfect. Simply, stunningly perfect.
I saw it tonight (praise LincTIx), it was my first time actually seeing a production of this show, and it was by far one of the most beautifully written shows I have EVER seen.
The show itself was absolutely breathtaking. I mean it was only a concert version and it was able to touch my heart, I could only imagine what it must've been like 10 years ago when there were sets, costumes, etc.
The only thing I want to say is this show, this concert, this cast is utter perfection.
