I noted it on the other Harvey thread. He looks amazing. He is SO Tevye.

I am SO seeing this......
The producers need to be congratulated -- with one casting decision, they've managed to create buzz and interest in a show that's been limping along almost since it opened nearly a year ago to lukewarm reviews. Good for them!

He LOOKS good in the costume, but I still think this is a really bad casting decision. However, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think the ones who think this was a bad casting decision are only familiar with Harvey in the role of Edna. Trust me, he is a talented man. He can do more...
He looks great!

Please don't mistake me for someone who's only seen the overrated "Hairspray". I've seen "Torch Song Trilogy", and several of his other films. Terrific talent, but I don't think he's right for the role. Like I said before, we'll wait and see.

Well, despite what I said before, he definitely looks the part, and I wouldn't mind seeing him in it!

I've never seen him in a role that was not gay. . so it's hard for me to imagine the role of Tevye in his typical voice. .

Yay! I'm sure he'll do wonderful!
I'm just curious as to how he'll pull off the singing with a voice like that...

Just let me take another opportunity to emphasize my anger and disgust at this casting move. Broadway is in so much trouble.
