EMMY IS PRESENTING AT THE OSCARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was confirmed on the list of presenters...
And Gerard will be at tonight's "Independent Spirit Awards" (probably for "Dear Frankie"???) which will air on IFC and repeat on Bravo.
Gerard is expected to attend the Oscars, tomorrow night.
I bet Patrick will be at both, too, since he did "Hard Candy" and is going to do "American Gothic"--which also sounds like an independent film.

Oh man, the first day in awhile I'm hardly on the message board the whole day, I hear Gerry's gonna be on TV. Sad. Oh well, hopefully I'll catch it on Bravo.
DID YOU SEE HIM DID YOU SEE HIM?
he was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo handsome as usual
can you tell im feeling giddy today?
Er... I'm new to this thread, but I just saw Phantom on Broadway last night, and I just wanted to show my Hugh Panaro love.
So...
OMFG HUGH I LOVE YOU. Too bad you were in the shower while I poked the stage door. *weep*
And... thank god Gerry's gonna be on. I wanna watch it for him and... like... Johnny Depp. :O
::waves:: Welcome LariTheLord, to the Phantom whores page.
(I meant that with the utmost respect)
I trust you all saw Emmy? She was gorgeous!!
glued to the tv last night... so of course... definitely one of the best dressed
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pretty, the rudbies..and the dress.and her hair! WEEEE
and Im offically shooting someone cuz Beyonce riffed it. Volunteers?
Zeppie, I hate to tell you but I was watching both E! and ABC's postshows and in ABC's viewer poll and almost every fashion expert named Hilary Swank best dressed. In fact, I think it might have been E...or ABC...well one of them I don't remember actually said they felt Emmy dressed too adult for her, though they mentioned she's gorgeous they slightly criticized the outfit. Well, hey at least your over 500 votes for her on E!'s poll won that for her...
emmy looked better than hilary, hands down!

i did what i could. 500 votes may be underestimating.
personally, i think hillary looked TERRIBLE. she is a beautiful woman, but she really picked a terrible dress... or curtain to throw around her... whatever it was
Emmy did NOT dress too old for her age. what was she supposed to wear?
what do they mean "for her age?" the girl is a WOMAN!

Here's the link to information about the upcoming DVD of "Andrew Lloyd Webber Phantom of the Opera movie."
http://shop.chicagopride.com/shop/item_display.cfm/varasin/B0007TKNL0
And here's a blurb...(though I don't agree with ALL of the assessment...)
"Although it's not as bold as Oscar darling Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera continues the resuscitation of the movie musical with a faithful adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's blockbuster stage musical. Emmy Rossum glows in a breakout role as opera ingénue Christine Daae, and if phantom Gerard Butler isn't Rossum's match vocally, he does convey menace and sensuality in such numbers as "The Music of the Night." The most experienced musical theater veteran in the cast, romantic lead Patrick Wilson, sings sweetly but seems wooden. The biggest name in the cast, Minnie Driver, hams it up as diva Carlotta, and she's the only principal whose voice was dubbed (though she does sing the closing-credit number, "Learn to Be Lonely," which is also the only new song)."

Do you think there will be a big DVD launch party?
Do you think it will be in NYC?
Do you think stars will be in attendance?
Do you think I can clear the barricades without a running start?

Ehh, I say either way we have our own thread party when the DVD comes out, we could advise each other on easter eggs and stuff. Or we just make it kind of a celebration, holiday for us, everyone getting extra features on their favs.
Speaking of, I was considering seeing "Dear Frankie" I checked rottentomatoes.com and it has a 100% fresh rating so I think it's worth seeing...unfortunately I don't think it's playing anywhere around me yet. Oh well, guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled...
OMG
I've been waiting SO LONG for Dear Frankie! I cant wait!!
good evening, kids!
