It will be on my list with Purple Rain, Benjamin Button. Trading Places, Lampoon Vacation, Take the Lead, Bull Durham, Karate Kid, Gatsby, Joy, Prada, Princess Bride, Midnight in the Garden, Sunday Church, Paddington, Mystic Pizza, Burlesque, Millions, Working Girl, August Rush, Imitation of Life, Wonder, Bad News Bears, Beaches, Saturday Night Fever, 10 Things I Hate About You, Lost Boys, What's Up Doc, Greatest Showman, The Rose and Pollyanna.  There are more but you get the idea. Original ideas are still my preference.

The thought of Norah Jones (co-)writing a musical score is also intriguing.

She's my biggest worry about this project. Her music is so sleepy to me. I don't think story-telling or theatricality when I think of her music. Maybe she'll surprise.

It is a bummer. I'm worried we're going to get a parade of false rhymes and songs that end where they started. So tired of this trend.

A lot of these titles are based off the book or whichever other source material the respective show is based off of, not the film(that happens to be based off the same material).
