"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Is the trailer featured anywhere besides that page?
For some reason I can't view the trailer with my Firefox browser.
But I won't live alone in a house of regret.

Four students from my high school produced, directed, and starred in this for their senior project. It was stunning. I can't wait for the movie.

If you have Firefox, keep trying. It took me a few times before it loaded up.

I want to be Jake Gyllenhall. He is one of the finest young actors out there. I am quite looking forward to this movie. Some prime acting is bound to be seen.

Man, I can't wait for this movie. It's going to be quite the Broadway-themed movie going for me in the next few months between Rent, The Producers and Proof. re: 'PROOF' Trailer Now Online!!

Kringas, I think Miramax shelved this movie for a while, but I'm really not sure why. Anyway, the trailer looks pretty good. I took the play out from the library today in anticipation. :)

Dear Jake Gyllenhaal,

Could you be any more beautiful? No? Okay, I didn't think so either...
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05

I read this play a few months ago when I had to do a scene from it for my acting class. This is an amazing play and I'm so excited to see the movie!

Finally! I can't wait.

Gwyneth did an amazing job on the London stage in PROOF. And this is such a fine cast. Should be good...

I so wish Mary-Louise could have revived her Tony-winning portrayal of Catherine.

But Gwyneth looks good.
