I'm crossing my fingers about a rush. I assume Safe Horizon would have to agree with it too?

I'm holding out for Jennifer Holliday as Mama Morton. Her "When You're Good To Mama" is sooo over the top, which is perfect for a benefit. What's she doing nowadays anyway?

They haven't added a second Mama yet, so maybe they will get Holiday.

I think it's great they added d'Amboise. I don't think we all expected her to be added since the Weisslers would just throw her in the show whenever they needed a Roxie. But she is indeed a SPECIAL Roxie to this revival. So it's great she'll be there.

For a celeb Mama... u think they'll go for Patti LaBelle?

I don't think any of the leads from the movie have ANY business being part of this. They HAD nothing to do with creating this revival. I can see if maybe some of them had performed it, but they havent. So they better stay far away. This night will be for celebrating 10 amazing years on BROADWAY, and a lot of the performers who played these roles 8x a week for a period of time.

Anyway, I don't think Charlotte taking a night off from ACL will be that big of a deal. It's only one night. It's important she's part of this.

Im waiting for Michele Pawk, Roz Ryan, Jennifer Holliday or Patti LaBelle to be added as Mama.... I havent heard anything yet.

The movie cast should not be doing this... I really do not mind them being guest audiences but not part of the performance! This is because those performing onstage for this 10th birthday show should (in my opinion) be those who have performed onstage in the show on Broadway... maybe on tour if they;re pure awesome. Cuz this is the BROADWAY version of the show birthday... no Ldn/foreign/movie casts should be performing on that stage that day!

I almost wish they could do All That Jazz twice in full, once with Chita and once with Bebe. I mean, Bebe created the role in this revival and won the Tony for it and we all adore her. But the fact that Chita, who created the role 30 years ago, is still with us, kicking and strutting her stuff at 73 years old, is such a thing to celebrate!

And man, imagine if Jerry Orbach were still around. He would totally have gotten involved in this. So much to celebrate!

Holy crap at the list now! How the hell are they going to split all of this up? Sharon Lawrence is a pleasant suprise to this list!
Still practically no Mamas. Lynda Carter, who played Mama in London is added.

Set to join the original cast, Ann Reinking, Bebe Neuwirth, James Naughton, Joel Grey and Marcia Lewis and the previously announced star alumni (Brooke Shields, Melanie Griffith, Marilu Henner, Patrick Swayze, Gregory Harrison, Alan Thicke and Wayne Brady) will be: P.J. Benjamin, John O’Hurley, Obba Babatunde, Sharon Lawrence, Lynda Carter, Paige Davis, Bianca Marroquin, Chuck Cooper, Christopher MacDonald, Destan Owens, Tom Wopat, Ron Raines, Gerry McIntyre, Raymond Bokhour, Kevin Carolan, Tom McGowan, Ron Orbach and Bruce Winant.

It's debatable at present moment if Terra will be there. Neither of us have heard anything in that respect, but if they're attempting to represent major Chicago companies, Terra would be a Velma to add. Especially considering that she originated the role in Paris and Canada, only to move onto Broadway and the tour.
