Not seeing a lot of buzz about this revival, yet it is one I am really looking forward to. Kelli should be great as Babe doing "Im' Not At All In Love" and I think Connick would really do well on songs like "A New Town is a Blue Town" and of course "Hey There". Any news , views?
I love the show, and think Harry Connick Jr. is adorable, so I have my tickets.
I haven't heard much buzz about it.
I saw it at City Center Encores, and it was a great production. I am not sure if this is going to be a concert version, like that was , or a full scale production. I would love any info if anyone has it.
All ya gotta do it say hello to a man,
and THEY have you whispering in his ear.
All you gotta do is be polite to him,
and THEY have you spending the night with him.
If there's a fella you merely have a beer with,
They have you setting the wedding date.
It seems they've just gotta have some dirt
To bend your ear with
So before you start
I herewith...state
I'm not, at all in love, not at all in love, not I!
Not a bit
Not a might
Though I'll admit he's one hunk of guy....
what a wondrous song.
I am looking forward to the Pajama Game too. You might enjoy these links that I posted in October.

It doesn't start performances till January 19th, which is maybe why you haven't been hearing too much about it. I can't honestly say I know too much about the show, I'm just excited to see it. Hopefully I'll be going in March!
i'll be there on January 19th and I will definitely post a review!
when I was little I was mr. hines in it :)....awww memories.
Being a Christopher Guest freak, I'm thrilled that Michael McKean is starring in it.
I played Hines in high school, so I'll always have a certain affection for this show, but it will be interesting to see how well it holds up in modern times...
I have never seen the show but I heard it was an old-fashioned musical. Is it one of "those" musicals that is just fluff.
It's an old fashioned musical comedy. It didn't advance the medium, I guess, with the exception of "Steam Heat" which introduced Bob Fosse as a major dance figure and introduced his style as well.
I just did the show last semester, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the revival.
Hmm, judging from the responses on this thread, there is buzz, it's just not...BUZZ.
I really don't know anything about the show or story and I know I couple of the songs ("Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway"). But I'm - hopefully - seeing it this spring.. though mainly for Kelli O'Hara, Harry Connick Jr., and Megan Lawrence.
