I think the stadium on fire is almost certainly Damn Yankees.
My thoughts on the heart...Legally Blonde? The show is obviously about love and references "drives on the beach."
I think the no fear one, based on the lyric posted, is Newsies.
When I saw the weather map with the country being rained on, my first thought was 110 in the Shade, but that's an odd choice for them. If we're dealing with a musical about a lot of rain, how about Two By Two (another admittedly odd choice).

I don't think that's Yankee Stadium, I'm pretty sure that's Citi Field. Citi on fire - City on fire - Sweeney Todd maybe?
Also, the picture of the guy is William Boeing so, although someone said they're not doing plays this season, it could be Boeing, Boeing

Posted: 2/2/11 at 6:34pmI meant they aren't doing plays this current (2010-2011) season. I have no idea if they are during the season we are guessing for.

Just did a google image search for William Boeing and that photo was the first one to come up. So, Boeing Boeing would seem the obvious choice for that one. Good catch, Pomegranate.
The stadium definitely isn't Yankee Stadium, but it's not Citi Field, either. Citi Field doesn't have the blue color to it. It actually looks like it might be Shea Stadium.

Posted: 2/2/11 at 6:46pmYou're right, it's definitely Shea Stadium, which is next to Citi Field. I'm Not actually a baseball fan and I've only been to one Mets game so I was confused. I asked my dad, who is a fan.

Double confirmation. Here's the image of Shea before they photoshopped it. Looks like Google's the place to go.

Posted: 2/2/11 at 6:52pmI'm still thinking it's Damn Yankees, even though it's not Yankee Stadium on fire.

I'm okay with it being set on fire then

Posted: 2/2/11 at 7:22pmPuzzles (or whatever you want to call this) like this really make me a little obsessive. It seems like the best guesses are Grease (even though they did it in '03), Newsies, 110 in the Shade, Damn Yankees, and Boeing, Boeing. At least to me, that is. Am now preparing myself to be proven entirely wrong. When do they actually announce anyway?

I was thinking 110 in the shade, too, but it looks like the green on the map is for cold weather...so i still feel kind of stumped.
i really hope it's damn yankees with the stadium burning...

Thursday, February 17 at an 11am press conference.

Am I wrong but is the last number on the key 110? If you look at the larger picture it's obviously three digits.
And what if the burning baseball stadium has nothing to do with baseball? What if it's Flushing or Queens on fire? If they're doing "Damn Yankees" why not actually use Yankee Stadium or would that just be too much of a giveaway?

Probably not, but maybe the fire one is Swenney?
I know that's Shea Stadium but since that's next to Citi (according to what someone said) it could have been "Citi on fire" (City on Fire)? Maybe? Probably not though.

Posted: 2/2/11 at 8:33pmActually, Citi Field was built in the Shea Stadium parking lot and next to Shea. Shea Stadium was demolished and is no more.

adam,
I ment when Citi Field was built, it was built next to the then standing Shea. And, that Shea stadium was torn down. As a lifelong Mets fan I know which stadium they play in.

The picture of the guy? That's William Boeing. Best guess is Boeing, Boeing.

Posted: 2/3/11 at 6:55pmWith all the plays in the world why would Paper Mill mount "Boeing, Boeing" which was just on Broadway with a Tony winning production only a year and a half ago? Can they be that lazy and uninspired?
