Everyone on this board is going to hell for being a dirty heathen. To which, all I can say is, no one will ever misspell there ever again.
P.S. I have been a legend too.
With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-

Congrats on becoming a legend, Ry!
And I *love* Patti too!

Don't tell the crew at the St. James.
They want to kill her.
She's being, well, Patti,
which is not a nice thing.
If I was her, I would watch out for falling scenery and lights.

"I think it might be a requirement for all *good* legends that they admire Patti as one of their legends."
Oh great. That's all this board needs. More fascism.

To paraphrase Wendy in Peter Pan, "Patti LuPone is the sun, the moon and the stars!"
The crew at the St. James worships her.
CurtainPullDowner is a wicked old witch.

I sincerely hope she is a bitch! What kind of diva would she be if she all sunshine and rainbows?
I love her and I love that she terrorizes those on a lower plane of greatness.
re: Patti LuPone#18
Posted: 4/3/08 at 8:31amTaz, my thoughts exactly! If I were to go backstage at the St. James, I would be heartbroken if she wasn't bitch-slapping all the little people for no reason.

I was having a lovely chat with a guy once. Then he let slip the fatal words, "Patti LuPone! I looooove her!". Now, I loves me some Patti an' all, but I didn't bother getting his number after that. XD

Posted: 4/3/08 at 11:00amAre you people trying to infer that Ms. LuPone is the Leona Helmsley of the theatre world? Are you?

On Sunday, Patti hurriedly, but politely, signed for about 20-30 people in a sea of fans.
Boyd Gaines walked directly to his waiting car and driver, put a few things in his trunk, sat in the back seat and talked with a cohort for about 10 minutes before driving off, never once even glancing back at the scores of people on the sidewalk. Not all were just about Patti.
So who's the diva?
