After listening to the "May We Entertain You" it makes me wonder. Where is Sami from? She has a distinct accent.


Sami Gayle is from Florida, we sat next to her teacher who came to see her at city center last summer and subsequently had a conversation with her grandmother at the stage door.

This recording is absolutely brilliant...Patti and the rest of the cast sound fabulous. This is the definitive Gypsy recording.

I agree. Which is why I don't understand why we're fighting. The only thing I don't like about the recording is the selection of material they chose to include. I would have made different selections. That's all I'm trying to express.

Boy, some of you people are truly frightening with your supposed "positivity."

It's fairly chilling, truthfully... and FAR worse than anything negative I or anyone else can think of to say.

Why don't you take your I-know-more-than-you-do boring idiocy elsewhere?

Or at least have the brains and class to understand that people have different opinions.

Don't worry, Phyl. This one's a sock puppet or a hard-nosed shil for the LuPone recording. Either a relative of somebody or a CD producer, who decided to be "cute" with the posts.
