I'm on an Amtrak right now reading their magazine, Arrive. There's this article about the holiday season on Broadway, and part of the highlight of Fela mentions that Patti Lupone would be in the production until it closes. XD

Though it is a funny thought imagining her in the show, maybe it'd actually work out better than Women on the Verge...

This is not news...it was quite publicized well before she joined the cast...and since she started.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Patti got a contract with Uggs. As part of that contract, she gets to show her Ugg-clad feet to the audience from that suspended bridge. Face it, product placement is now a part of Broadway.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Not only is LuPone on as Piragua Guy, Lin-Manuel Mirand has written another role into the show to incorporate Elaine Stritch as well!

Stritch plays "Piranha Guy," a vendor who sells flesh-eating fish live on the street corner, and enters into a rivalry with LuPone's Piragua Guy.

I thought it was Leslie Kritzer as Patti LuPone at Les Mouches in Women on the Verge of a Wicked Fela.
