Allison Janney- 2
Wait, Allison didnt win for Bridge in 98?
Victor Garber - 4
I wish John McMartin would win one. I've seen him several times on Broadway, and he's always terrific.
Hmph...at least three married couples in our list - Mann/D'Amboise, Edelman/Carmello, Luker/Burstein.
Add Sherie Rene Scott to the list (2 noms)
Some of these are bound to win at some point in their career but they've always been nominated in tough categories in extremely strong theatre seasons, specifically Raul Esparza, Sherie Rene Scott, and Kelli O'Hara.
edit: Sherie was already on the list
"Wait, Allison didnt win for Bridge in 98?"
No, Marie Mullen won for The Beauty Queen of Leenane.

Tovah Feldshuh - 4
Daphne Rubin-Vega (2)
Harry Connick Jr. (2)
With no disrespect toward the younger actors in this thread, I'd love to see some of the folks who have been at it for DECADES get the recognition they deserve. I thinking about McMarting, Garber, and Feldshuh.

Wait, Allison didnt win for Bridge in 98?
She's won the Drama Desk for Bridge & 9to5, but no Tony.
Some of the folks listed will never win because they are a nightmare to work with and it is no secret. After all, people in your industry need to vote for you. If you are evil, you really reduce your odds.
Well now that is just going to make me crazy wondering which of these people is awful to work with.
Obviously it's Gavin Creel. I mean, he just seems like the biggest asshole to me.
That is why rumors about people like Patti being a bitch hold no water with me, since she has two Tonys. She might tirade on fans and bank employees, but I hear she is generous to work with and very sweet.
Those with multiples nods and no awards are the people you need to wonder about.
Alec McCowen - 3
John Gielgud — won as a director (for an American play), won a non-competitive Tony as a performer, but didn't win either of his two acting nominations
Ralph Richardson - 3
Ben Gazzara - 3
And there's Stritch, who has never officially won a Tony as a performer.
Anyone with more than 5?

givesmevoice: Gavin Creel is one of the sweetest people ever. You are totally wrong and obviously, clueless.
