Sorry if there's another thread on this, but I couldn't find one. How has the lottery been recently? Is it incredibly crowded or...??

They gave out a lot on the side orchestra. They also said that if you put in for two tickets, you might not sit together.
A friend of mine went the other day and she sa
id everyone won. There were not many people.
Any recent updates on the lotto? Trying to decide whether I should buy via TDF or take my chances with the lottery...

I went (and lost) last Friday night. There were probably 50+ people there, and I think they sold around 20 tickets (I missed the announcement of how many they had). I figured the combo of nice weather and the Tony noms bumped up the popularity.
Last Saturday night had around 40ish people.
bumping cause I'm considering lotto-ing Monday night's show. Anyone know how busy Mondays have been recently?

I don't know about the Monday lotto, but (as of this morning) it's on TDF for Monday, if that helps.
oh wonderful! It hasn't been the last few times I checked.
And shucks, I just tried to buy a ticket, but even though it says it's still available, when I actually clicked through, it wasn't. Bummer!
Bumping this to get an update. Some friends of mine are in town next week and are going to try for Thursday night. I know things may change after Sunday, but how's it been so far?
Lost on Wednesday afternoon. Take that with a grain of salt, seeing as how I have never won one.
Went Friday night and lost. There was about 100 people there for 28 seats.
I won 2 weeks ago. About 60 people were there. My seat was about 10 rows back orchestra left.
Went to the matinee today, about 75 people there. My friend won (not me), we got row J 20 and 22.
If I failed with the Lottery what are my options? Can I still get a cheap ticket?
Don't think it was a particular "lotto loser" discount, but the lady running the lottery did say there were $59 seats in the rear mezz. still available

What are your guys thoughts: are a lot of people going to be coming out on Saturday for Borle's last shows? I want to see it and I'll be in the city that day. Should I spend the $60 now and get a rear mez seat or wait for the lottery and spend half as much if I win.
You could buy the tickets now, and then if you win the lottery just sell your tickets to a lottery loser?

I'm going to try tomorrow. anyone think I'll have a lot of luck?

I went to the lottery Monday night and tonight as well, and lost both times. On Monday, there was 100+ people there - it was a huge crowd. I thought maybe it was so packed because it was one of the few shows that has a Monday night performance. Today's lottery wasn't as large but I still lost. I'm gonna try tomorrow for both of their shows as well.

Did the lotto for today's matinee, and won! There were 60+; our seats were Row J, seats 20 and 22. The seats were fantastic!

Did the lotto for yesterday's evening show and lost - probably about 60 people present. I bought a rear mezz ticket instead. :)

Entered the lottery for matinee today and lost. I bought the lottery loser ticket for $49 and got front orchestra side seat. Like three seats in from the end? I wouldn't recommend this seat to anyone tho. It's REALLY partial view. Actually, more like 'You'll-miss-half-the-scene' view. I'm thinking of watching the show again cuz I feel like I've missed a whole lot.
