It has been radio silence since all the buzz of a downscaled transfer in the weeks after POTO closed and there has also been nothing announced for the Majestic at all next season, though the work permits look like everything will wrap in the spring. Anyone have intel? Did their original plans change?

There was no plan.
Webber mentioned that it may be back someday, but that isn't a plan.

It hasn't even been a year, this is true, but if you think that would stop Cameron Mackintosh then you're sadly mistaken. I can easily believe that this was all part of the plan to bring in a cheaper production.

I wonder if they intentionally fabricated the idea of an immediate revival just to soften the blow of closing and give the hardcore fans some hope onto which they could hold.
