A few of the reviews have pointed out that its an intentional choice in this production to cast the Cagelle with men who in no real way resemble actual women. They are actually a really ugly group of drag queens - athletic, butch and grotesque -- it works.

Butch in a German Dyke Nun kind of way. Any beef people are throwing about Adams is obviously based on things that have nothing to do with his performance in the show. Ego would be a performer in the chorus trying to steal the spotlight - there is none of that - Adams is a pro and does his ensemble job well and appropriately.

Sorry, I don't know the man, don't have any opinion of him one way or the other, but why are so many people being bitchy about Nick Adams? I would venture to guess that somewhere deep inside he realizes that genuine stardom will elude him and he's doing the best he can to make up for any shortcomings he innately may feel about himself. He's working with what he has to offer, nothing more. Lay off the guy -- he hasn't done anything to you personally.

I think the most gorgeous of them all is Nicholas Cunningham, straight from the London production, right from the beginning, he's tall, he's handsome, he's pretty, he's got long, long legs!
