Hm. I'm not crazy about the hair, but other than that it's not bad. And it's nice to see so many N2N people there supporting her.
Is the artist aware that Alice has a HUGE mouth that shows A LOT of gum?

I would have no idea that was supposed to be Alice Ripley if it weren't for the article title.
It looks nothing like her. I love her reaction in the unveiling pictures...she looks so confused haha.
And her boobs are in my face in half of those pictures. But basically, I love her.
That looks like Clay Aiken.
someone could've at least told her her bra was hanging out.
HA! It does look like Clay Aiken! Haha!!
These just get worse and worse.
BWW should delete this thread its misleading.
I was under the impression I was going to see a picture of Alice Ripley..

When are they going to stop insulting our intelligence by calling these caricatures?
Ha. Yes, in that picture where she first sees the carcature, that look on her face is priceless. "Gee, thanks guys..."
That's one of the worst I've ever seen. She has such a distinctive mouth... how could they not even try to draw it?
It looks like an anti-caricature. They took all of Alice's features and threw them out leaving some unidentifiable woman.
I would like any decent caricature artist with any love of Broadway would have a field day with Alice. Her eyes, her mouth, her whole persona.
NEXT TO NORMAL by Justin "Squigs" Robertson. HE'S the one Sardis should use.
I honestly didn't think Sardi's could top the Brian D'Arcy James drawing for dullness. But they managed to pull it off. :-P
Justin should be the one Sardi's goes to. He's also a very talented actor.
I love Squigs' drawings. I'd also love if someone like Norn did the caricatures. He hasn't done anything recently, though, which is kind of sad.

I can't draw for the life of me; I'm close to making stick figures. However, I think I could make a picture that resembles her a lot more than that one. She has such distinctive characteristics...
Was this "artist" just picked off the street, blind-folded and told to draw Alice Ripley?
The Sardi ones are HORRIBLE! Nothing like the ones at Tony Di Napoli where you can actually figure out who they are.

In the firsts photo on the BWW photo flash, she LOOKS like a Sardi's Caricature.
These Sardi's caricatures seem to get worse and worse. Remember the old days? When caricatures really accentuated the features? What the hell? I love Alice Ripley, and this "caricature" makes me sad.
