I'm glad the freak flag is back.
Love the Dragon's new look! :] Should've been like that to begin with!

LOVE the Dragon!
Finally, on tour, after the original production closed, they figured out a key element in the show.
WOOHOO! Lookin' good!
I realize it's not a popular opinion among those who frequent these boards, but I know a busload (literally!) of Upstate New Yorkers who LOVED the original and can't wait to catch the Ogres on tour!
I'm off to catch this in Chicago so I don't have to wait till it comes to Buffalo later on. I found it to be a fun show all around!
Yay for finally getting the dragon right!
urmmm, i dont know which i prefer....Dragon is better....i also like the darker look of the scenery in "I Know It's Today" "Travel Song" and "Donkey Pot Pie"...i think im going to prefer a lot of the visual of the tour, but all in all might prefer the Broadway version, expecially Lord Farquaad hehe
'Donkey Pot Pie' isn't in the show anymore. The new song is called 'Forever'
omg, they got rid of songs?!....i just said "donkey pot pie" bcuase it looks like the same scene lol will the record them or anything....i think it'll be silly not to....it would make money from them...anyway haha,
I personally loved the show on Broadway. Sure it's not the greatest but it was judged just by it's cover. The music was great and it's visually very impressive. It looks even better on Tour.

They won't.
awww...i actually got so excited for a minute, turned into my inner child haha whoops lol
Who's playing Pinocchio?
It looks good, sadly the footage of Peterson's shrek i've seen thus far (the lebron clip, a bit of the taste of chicago performance) disappoints me.

It is more possible that there would be a recording of the forthcoming London production, but even that is unlikely...
@Eastwickian It's happening for LEGALLY BLONDE, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Do they still have Young/Teen Fiona?
Rmusic, I don't know the definite answer, but I would assume so since "I Know it's Today" is about Fiona growing up stuck in the tower. Would it really make sense as a solo, since the whole point is that she was waiting forever?
I love how we sometimes have to "apologize" for liking a show- everything isn't Sondheim- and it is more than okay for a show to be "just fun" at the theatre and not a pulitzer.
I liked Shrek and it was my daughters first show on Broadway last June-still not sure what was funnier- the show or sitting next to Vince Machmahan and family from the WWE- file under people you never thought you'd see in a Broadway theater!
