I love the "Whatever Lola Wants" costume, but I'm not a big fan of the one for "A Little Brains, A Little Talent." I never pictured Lola as someone who would wear a white dress (though honestly I can't remember what Verdon's costume was in the movie).
Everything else looks great though. I'm so pumped up about this. Thanks for posting these pics, Jay!

I *think* Gwen wore a brightly colored dress for that scene in the movie... pink maybe.
I'm also not crazy about the white dress.

Ironic is what you would least expect. I would expect that look on his face, first as Cheyenne and as the character since Joe is relatively uncomfortable for most of that number due to the fact that he is married.

I don't like that the orchestra is on stage. It takes me out of it. Dont like it in Gypsy...dont like it here. I know it's Encores thing...but its odd. It seems OK when the performers are holding scripts (like in follies) but when the rest of the show is fully staged...it just takes me out of it. Not a fan

From my seat in the 2nd row of the orchestra pit at the invited dress, you could see plenty in her final outfit during "Whatever Lola Wants." The costume was a little revealing.

I absolutely LOVE her in this though.
