Posted: 3/29/15 at 8:56pmI've been listening to the recording a lot lately, and it's obviously too soon for a revival on Broadway, but I've been thinking of Judy Kuhn playing Margaret and Sierra Boggess playing Clara. I didn't know Judy was a year older than Victoria Clark until I just googled them both, but that doesn't seem too old to play the character. I thought of Sierra because I loved her voice on her 54 Below album. Anyone think a major production will happen soon? I love the score so much, I think my favorite lyric is: "The beauty is when you realize someone could be looking for a someone like you." That's so true.

I certainly would like Kelli O'Hara to play her maybe in ten years or so. She would probably be splendid. I love her as Clara, although I've heard some people complained her Clara seems too competent.
Judy Kuhn is one of those people who I believe can sing literally anything. She can belt up a storm and she has a beautiful soprano. I was a child in the 90's and her singing Pocahontas was always my favorite Disney soundtrack. Just Around the Riverbend still gives me chills.
Also: when will Adam Guettel write a new show? It's been far too long.

he supposedly was working on "The Princess Bride" and a few others - as of February 2012 ("Millions" "The Invisible Man" (hmm, why not Ellison's "Invisible Man", stories of Washington Irving, Days of Wine and Roses.)

Posted: 3/29/15 at 10:51pmGuettel thought the royalties should be split 1/3 each book, music and lyrics while Goldman wanted 75%, so Guettel walked.

Posted: 3/30/15 at 12:44amI wish I could hear his score for it. Im sure someone has a recording or sheet music. It would be nice if his score was published as a concept recording or just an album. Im sure it was a beautiful score.
