Yes, thank you! I was also at yesterday night's performance, and after seeing Billy Tighe's insert in the playbill, the Leading Player's words seemed to have a ring of truth to them.
This was my first time seeing the show, and I knew basically nothing going in, so I didn't understand the cheers when Andrea Martin's name was announced at curtain. She brought the house down. During the last repeat of her chorus, she was interrupted by a standing ovation! After which she still had to finish the song. She came back on stage right after she exited to take a mid-act curtain call. Kudos to the house crew for getting the spotlight on her in a very impromptu fashion.
As a side note I had a ridiculously good seat, given that I went to TKTS only a half an hour before the start of the show. Center orchestra, 8th row.

Ouch! We were in the front mezzanine at full price. We did have great seats, I must say.

That's built into the show, but glad it looked spontaneous!

He's been on as Pippin before, so Thursday night wasn't his first time on. really wish I could have seen this on Thursday, just to see Tighe as Pippin, Harper as Fastrada, Seiber as Charles & Martin as Berthe one last time.

It seems Stephanie Pope has left the company. The new leading player understudy is Gabrielle McClinton.

I saw Billy last Wednesday matinee. Didn't care for him. His acting wasn't bad, and he def. got stronger as the show went on, but his singing was awful. He sounded flat and off for most of the show. His "Corner of the Sky" was flat and timid, and his last night was falsetto and weak. But the rest of the show was awesome.

I wonder with Harper being on for Fastrada(Charlotte d'Amboise) all week, if Charlotte is simply on vacation this week.

With all of Billy's recent appearances, does that mean that he is primary understudy and the odds of seeing Erik are greatly diminished?

I believe someone had posted they woluld share the role, but logistically speaking, it seems it would be easier and make things work more smoothly if Billy was primarily going on. If he goes on, there's no need to readjust casting elsewhere or put in a swing. Before Billy joined the cast, when Erik went on, Colin Cunliffe would go as Lewis and a swing would go on for Colin. That's 3 adjustments in cast vs. 1.

I saw the show September 12, and Sabrina Harper was on for Fastrada, so it looks like Charlotte has been out for over one week.
I believe that Stephanie Pope is now in Chicago as Annie, u/s Velma Kelly.

Dean: Can I tell you something?
Lorraine: That depends on what it is.
Dean: I think you're really really pretty.
Lorraine: (after a pause) Ok, you can tell me that.

I also saw Billy on for Pippin. I thought he was great! Sometimes I missed some of MJT's vocal flourishes (especially in Extraordinary), and I heard a few very minor vocal hiccups, but I never thought he sounded off-pitch and that's something I'm pretty critical of. His high notes on "Morning Glow" were phenomenal.

I also saw Billy this past Saturday! I was a little disappointed at first Matthew wasn't in it, but I loved Billy. And BwayTday, I totally agree, his high notes in Morning Glow were fantastic! I liked him a lot! He also had a very good body :)

The guy at the box office said that Charlotte hurt her toe and that is why she has been out. I saw the show last week with Sabrina, and she is good. I asked today if Charlotte would be back by the matinee I was buying tickets for Sunday. He said he wasn't sure, but he seemed optimistic.

Charlotte was out this afternoon but when I walked by as the audience for the evening show was being let in, the board had changed and it seems she returned this evening.

Has Gabrielle McClinton gone on as of yet?
If not, was this her first public performance then? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0dSwdvPDTw)

I don't thinks she's been on yet, but I'm guessing she'll make her debut when Patina goes on vacation later this month.
