I was just on Playbill, and it looks like they are doing a "Virtual Opening Night" for The Little Mermaid on Jan. 10 at 9pm on PlaybillRadio.com. They are going to play the entire cast album (which is not in stores until Feb 26) and have interviews from the red carpet from that night's opening.

But they haven't recorded the album yet. I'm sure they are just going to ship in the theater's sound to the radio.
This makes me very happy.

actually they recorded the soundtrack a few weeks ago! How can you record it? im just wonderin!
Actually, I think the album was recorded about 2 weeks ago or so. Or at least that's what I remember hearing. I don't think they would broadcast the audio.
Oh, I had no idea that the recording session had already taken place. My bad!

ha sorry I meant How could I record the live broadcast of the Original cast recording on my computer like some were mentioning.
You have to download a program. Audio Hijack Pro works really well. It gets fuzzy after 10 minutes of recording if you only have the demo, but you can save the first file to your desktop, delete it on the program, and then start recording the next bit.
I use PolderbitS Sound Recorder. It's a great program and has a 14 day trial available for free. You can record anything that plays on your sound card and it comes with all sorts of usable editing tools.

I have Sound Studio program... I like it a lot.. I can literally cut and edit...to remove unnessary dialogues... and convert it to MP3 file using EASY WMA converter so it goes to my iTunes right away....
