Sounds fun. Count me in.
I'm not sure anyone will be able to make a 100% clean copy - I imagine they will have the DJ speak over bits of the songs to prevent this. They do want people to buy the CD when it comes out in February.
youre right..probably cast interviews in between too...
Disney is not gonna give that away for FREE ! not that easy....

Oh man! I don't think I'll be home in time. Maybe a family member will record it for me.

If anybody does end up recording this and would be willing to send me a copy please PM me.
I just got a ticket for the opening (I think) of the new Chicago tour in Albany NY - if there is any intrest I can put up a review.
This is cool. Any idea how many of the songs are new?
A Special Edition of the OBCR is available at the Playbill Store. The Little Mermaid Special Limited Edition Picture Disc CD is not available in any other stores. It can only be purchased at PlaybillStore.com, or at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City, where The Little Mermaid is playing.
Also, Disney has released a new version of the recording's cover art.
The URL where you can order the special edition recording is here at https://www.playbillstore.com/nedilimelied.html
It unfortunately does not have PUS on the track listing.
Wow ! Why would someone wanna pay $25.00 for this without shipping & handling- that's almost the price of my Broadway show tix for SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE or IN THE HEIGHTS !
I'll just wait for...you know what !
OBCR CD for $25.00 is wayyyy to expensive-IMO. I dont have this much money to burn for Disney's crap

I know. And why use that picture of Sierra when that isn't even the right costume. That's kind of weird. I would've expected it to be about $25 with the shipping. About $18-$20 would've been more reasonable for the CD alone.

why isnt PUS on the track listing?
I think it's a typo.
It is going to be on there.

I tried it...but if I talk it records it.
Is there anyway to record direct from the source? A program that records from the sound chip?? Any techies out there?
Tomorrow's the big day! :)
Guys,
There is a program called WIRE TAP, from Ambrosia software that will do what you're asking (recording source data off your computer). But I don't condone doing anything "naughty" with it!

Nevermind

I connected to PlaybillRadio earlier this morning...I was worried it wouldn't connect me since everyone else would be trying to be...I'm listening to it now!
WireTap is working on my Mac!!! It's AMAZING!!!! I cannot wait!!!
Hopefully it records well and I'll be able to edit and break up the songs!!!
which one did you launch for MAC ? Window64 or MP3 64 K?

I don't get what is so special about the "Limited Edition CD." Just because it has a design of Sierra on it? It's really pretty and colorful, but is it really worth paying the extra $5-10, depending on where you decide to get it from?

I launched the MP3 version...it sounded better on my computer, it's playing off of my iTunes.
By the way, JASONFRAZIER, you're amazing!
