Maybe this will help ticket sales, which are not strong. My performance on October 12th was canceled, just randomly yesterday. Got the email and I had to call them to exchange for a different date. But, this was never a popular show and it doesn't seem to have gotten much better. It's really disappointing.

It also bombed on the west end (though very strong pre-engagements in small theatres). The pandemic can't help either!

I hate the brilliant shows like this one and The Scottsboro Boys are treated so poorly here.

Musicals that premiere in the fall rarely did well pre-pandemic, so I'm shocked that for something as niche as this show, they decided to not wait until another spring.

A promo (probably this one) was available when I bought my ticket a couple of days ago.  I paid an extra $10 and got an aisle center (JJ).  I was satisfied with the price ($67).  No way was I sitting in that last row in mezzanine.  I sat there for Harvey and had no bloodflow to my legs when the performance was over.

Does not seem like a real discount at all, just a tracking code. The rear mezz seats were already $49, so could not find a date where a discount actually applied.
